The Ergo-Express® Motorized Patient Transport Chair is ideal for sprawling facilities when it is required to transport patients long distances. Our comfort padded seat and backrest rotate 180° for easy on and off patient transfer with added comfort during transport.

Weight Capacity
The Ergo-Express® Motorized Patient Transport Chair has a weight capacity of 750lb. This takes care of the vast majority of ambulatory patients who can physically sit up. With the Safe Patient Handling movement in healthcare now focusing not only on patient safety but also staff safety. One of these specific areas of focus is patient transport. The Ergo-Express® Motorized Patient Transport Chair allows for zero push or pull effort when transporting any patient. Power drive assists with long distance transport, especially when ramps, carpets and thresholds are encountered. No more aches, pains, strains, or multiple staff members needed to transport patients.

Automatic Brake
When the chair is not in motion via the power drive, the brake is always locked. This means you can stop on an incline and the chair will not roll away. A secondary lock is applied, eliminating rotation of the chair, when assisting patients on and off.

180° Rotational Seat
Wondering where to place a wheelchair for easy patient transfer doesn’t exist with the Ergo-Express® Motorized Patient Transport Chair. The 180° swivel allows you to position the seat wherever is easiest for assisting patients on or off in confined areas.

Comfort Padded Seat and Foam-Filled Wheels
Typical wheelchairs have a thin vinyl seat with hard, unforgiving wheels that transfer the slightest bump in the floor directly to the patient’s body. Unlike a standard wheelchair, the three inches of memory foam in the seat, and foam-filled wheels absorb even the largest imperfection in the floor. With patient care and comfort being a priority in hospitals, the Ergo-Express® Motorized Patient Transport Chair brings the highest level of patient comfort available.

Center-Mounted Drive | 19.6” Turning Radius
The center-mounted power drive allows for the shortest turning radius of any powered transport chair available today. In the tightest of elevators, patient rooms, and patient care areas, you can drive the chair straight in pivot on the center axis and drive straight out.

10° Seat Back Recline
Sitting straight up and down can be uncomfortable, especially for bariatric patients. The Ergo-Express® Motorized Patient Transport Chair’s 10° seat recline further demonstrates our focus on patient care and comfort.

Hang patient IV bags from the standard IV pole that is attached to the Ergo-Express® Motorized Patient Transport Chair.

Adjustable Arm Rests
The arm rests on each Ergo-Express® Motorized Patient Transport Chair adjust in and out or can be completely removed. They can also fold up and out of the way.

Seat Belt
Each Ergo-Express® Motorized Patient Transport Chair has a safety belt to safely secure patients onto the motorized chair.

Adjustable Leg Rests
Add removable, adjustable leg rests to any Ergo-Express® Motorized Patient Transport Chair to elevate a patient’s legs.

Rolling IV Stand Clamp
As an optional accessory, an IV stand clamp can be added to connect an IV stand on wheels to the chair, freeing the transporters hands for better control of the Ergo-Express® Motorized Patient Transport Chair.

OP/ER Valet® Patient Belongings System
An OP/ER Patient Belongings System can be attached to the back rest of any Ergo-Express® Motorized Patient Transport Chair. This pouch will hold all of the patients belongings so they do not need to carry them on their lap, or have the transporter carry them while controlling the motorized chair.
